Winery Review - "The aromatics of this plush, richly fruited Merlot deliver exactly what they suggest: ripe flavors of plum, Bing cherry and blackberry. Utterly enjoyable on its own, this is a red for any day of the week, yet its food-friendly nature and appetizing tannins encourage you to savor it with a special meal. Heed your instincts — complementary pairings run the gamut from beef Bourguignon to hearty vegetable stew." - nytwineclub.com

Personal Review - I got this wine as part of a kit that I ordered from the tasting room. Out of all the wines in the kit, I really enjoyed this one and it is probably my second favorite wine from the kit. I really like the balanced taste this wine has while also being really fruit heavy. Definitely got some blackberry from this wine. This wine is definitely pretty light but that is expected from a merlot wine. Did not expect it to be as dry as it was but that definitely allowed this wine to hit a great balance in my opinion. Would definitely recommend this wine to anyone that wants to dry a merlot red wine.

Did not eat anything with this wine.
