Winery Review - "Martini & Rossi is one of the largest and best producers of Asti Spumante. With sweet, delicate flavors of melon, peach, apple and grapefruit, this sparkling wine pairs perfectly with apple tarts and cream." - drizly.com

Personal Review - One of the first wines I tried on this blog was the "normal" version of this wine that you can buy pretty much anytime you want. I decided to try the special edition since it is actually created in a slightly different way. This wine is usually mass produced from many vineyards, this special edition focuses on 3 locations that are really high up in the mountains. They say that this "ensures even ripening". Since Asti is usually pretty light this version took me by surprise. the flavor is definitely fuller and the carbonation feels lesser as an effect. I really liked this wine but I don't think the 8 dollar increase for the special edition (on average) is really worth it. You pretty much just get a little added flavor. Would not recommend this but would definitely recommend the cheaper version, I feel like you can get a better quality, unique tasting, sparkling wine for 20 dollars to be honest.

I did not eat anything with this wine
