Winery Review - "A vast array of aromas escape the glass—black cherry, nutmeg, cinnamon, and
cured meat—which are complemented by shades of sandalwood, vanilla, balsa
and evergreen. e entry is silky smooth with a textured mid-palate of velvety
fig, blueberry jam and soft oak. A hint of sea salt on the finish is rounded out
with a mouthfeel that fades slowly" - locationswine.com
Personal Review - Wow. So I chose this wine because honestly, it is just WEIRD. From the label (which looks like a bumper sticker) to the creativeness that went into this wine. Did not expect an old world country (especially one like Italy) to create such an off-the-wall wine. A blend from different regions? a sea salt aftertaste? It was really good but I never tried any of these grapes before (all new to me) so I really have to idea which set of flavors comes from each grapes. For the price of 20 dollars this is probably one of the weirdest (high effort) wines you can get for the price. I really enjoyed it and I will be watching this winery in the future for sure!
I did not eat anything with this wine
